While technically true, if you are looking for a home in the Triangle, it is literally a matter of moments between seeing your dream home and it being sold.

The median days on market is only 12 days. You might remember the days when the house you like today would still be available next month or the month after ... Those days are not today. The house you like today will be gone tomorrow unless there are serious problems with it.
If you think the market is HOT in the single family market, take a look at the condo/th market for a moment.
The median days on market is only 7 days. If you see a home you like that happens to be a condo or townhouse, there is a good chance that if you see it today, it will be sold tonight.
