The Triangle MLS has reported that inventory continues to decline; down 6% last month. The low inventory has helped keep the days on market to just under 90 days. Which is about 30 days better than this time last year. When lookingat Orange, Wake, Durham and Johnston Counties, sales have declined the second month in a row. However sales increased if you take into consideration all areas covered by the Triangle MLS. While the decline in sales in the four major Counties would normally be a cause for concern, sellers find themselves in a great position since the low inventory has resulted in less competition and less time to sell in many cases.
